We recommend you wear your 'grubby' clothes, and bring a
pillow (to elevate the height of your chair while sitting) and your
own coffee mug or 'go cup' to each class. Herbal tea/sugar and
water supplied for all classes.

Painted Papers 101 - It's All About Colour!

Need some drop-dead gorgeous paper?
You'll learn how to transform neutral mulberry paper into a
mélange of mouth-watering
tones that take your breath away. The best part is the ease and fun of creation.
Cost is $40 (plus hst) per person, and all supplies
and instruction to create at least 3 sheets
of paper are included. Paper can be framed, used in artwork,
or wrapped around a treasure for someone special. Or follow up

Beginning Drawing with a Sketchbook
Instructed by Carol Schloss
Learn how to get what you see down on paper! A no-pressure
sketchbook format for beginners will help you get over initial
fears, while tips and useful tricks will give you some basic tools
to develop your drawing skills. Areas covered will be
proportioning, perspective, simplifying shapes, quick gestures,
adding dimension and shading techniques. In this class, Carol
lectures with plenty of demos and hands-on exercises, as well as
asking for sketchbook homework from students.
Bring an 8 x 10 or 9 x 12 sketchbook, a few #2 pencils, eraser and a
sense of humour!
